Every farmer knows instinctively that he can improve soil fertility by adding compost (A source of carbon). This is however neither easy or cheap to do.
The reason our Biologically Assimilable Carbon (BAC) is so effective is that it introduces a useful carbon into the soil that:
- Increases the Cat-ion Exchange Capacity of the soil. (CEC)
- Increases the soil’s water carrying capacity
- Reduces nutrient leaching
- Serves as a food source for Microbial life forms
- Microbes improve soil structure and aeration.
- Healthy living soils reduces the effects of soil bourne diseases
- Healthy living soils improves the plant’s capacity to absorb nutrients
The challenge is to find a cost effective way to introduce all the requirements for a healthy living soil and reap the benefits of production cost reduction and/or increased yield.
