CARBOTECH:

The development of CARBOTECH has evolved from our years of experience with carbon fertilization based products and applications. We have found that the enrichment of fertilizers with a suitable biological assimilable carbon source will improve the plants ability to absorb and utilize nutrients. This could result in a reduction of the cost of a fertilizer program. We are therefore able to pass on this saving to the farmer in the form of a cheaper fertilization program with the same proven uptake of plant nutrients as in the case of ordinary chemical fertilizer.

In development of the best carbon-chemistry combination we took the following into consideration:

• COMPOSITION:

1. Carbon content: The unique carbon sources complexing agents we use in our products CARBOTECH is one of the keys to the success of CFT Series. We decided to protect the formulation of CARBOTECH by keeping a secret by rather patenting it. The following properties are guaranteed: 

• Highest cation exchange capacity (CEC): >2500 cmol/kg
• Specific composition with a high carbon content to improve the micro-life in the ground.
• Reliability: Because the complex carbon source is produced in a controlled process, and the content and quality remains constant

1. Purity:  Knowing that the biodegradable carbon is produced in a controlled process, and from a renewable resource, there are no unwanted components and contaminants present. Furthermore, the carbon source is fully soluble and compatible with dissolved chemical nutrients. 
2. Complexing Agent: The mixture contains a high concentration of organic complexing agents that acts as a type of chelate for the plant nutrients 

• PRACTICAL APPLICATION:

It was very important for us to develop a product that does not precipitate out, and does not clog up dripper lines, a product that that is the same at all times, because it is under controlled and standardized conditions. This was probably our single biggest frustration in the development process, but also one of our greatest successes. The product is both stable and there are no differences between successive patches.

• QUALITY ASSURANCE:

Although the CFT series is produced at different locations across the country, the CARBOTECH is only produced in one facility under strict supervision. Mixers are also strictly controlled in terms of mixing instructions and quality assurance. This should give the producer peace of mind that all products are consistently manufactured to specification. All products are registered in accordance with Act 36/47.
